

Jocelyn G. Lister, MA/CCC-SLP, senior speech and language pathologist and owner of Speech Connections, Seacoast, obtained her masters in speech pathology from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Ms. Lister worked in various school and clinical settings prior to developing her own private practice in 2003. Over the past ten years, Ms. Lister has been developing supports and programs to foster social/pragmatic skill development for children, adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorder.
Having developed the successful and highly acclaimed six week social skill summer program entitled Camp Connect in conjunction with Dr. Teresa Bolick, PhD, Ms. Lister continues to offer social skill development for all ages. Currently in addition to Speech Connections, Seacoast where social skill groups are offered, Ms. Lister is co-facilitating social skills groups with Heather Adams, MA/CCC-SLP at Speech Connections, Bedford. She has developed and presented a variety of workshops on topics ranging from speech and language development, social skill development, executive function related to speech and language output, early impact of attention deficit disorder as related to speech and language development and visual supports for students with limited verbal output. Ms. Lister consults to various school districts for assessment, treatment and consultation.
Another area of interest and expertise includes children with developmental apraxia of speech, severe articulation disorders and phonological processes, as well as literacy development for children with weak phonological awareness skills. Ms. Lister has been trained in the LIPS program, the PECS system of visual supports for children who are non-verbal or have limited verbal output, assistive devices such as Dynamyte, Vantage, and continues to hone her skills with regard to oral motor development. Treatment includes the Talk Tools program developed by Sarah Rosenfeld-Johnson, and techniques developed by Pamela Marshalla.
